Ishtai — Child Safety Standards

Last Updated: August 9, 2025

Ishtai is committed to protecting children and preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These Child Safety Standards describe our policies, preventative measures, reporting processes and the contact point for CSAE/CSAM compliance.

Scope & Purpose

These standards apply to the Ishtai mobile application and any related services operated by Ishtai. We prohibit any content, behaviour, or material that sexualizes or exploits minors, and we take swift action to remove and report such content.

Reporting and Contact

If you suspect child sexual abuse or exploitation on Ishtai, you can:

Designated child safety contact: operations@wyndtechnologies.com — available to respond to authorities and for official CSAM/CSA inquiries.

How Reports Are Handled

  1. Acknowledgement: We acknowledge receipt of in-app reports and email reports to the reporter (where contact info is provided).
  2. Evaluation & Triage: Our moderation team reviews reported content immediately and classifies severity (high/medium/low).
  3. Containment: If content or an account appears to involve CSAE/CSAM, we remove content and suspend the account pending investigation.
  4. Preservation: We preserve relevant evidence (images, messages, account metadata, IP logs, timestamps) to support law enforcement requests.
  5. Escalation to Authorities: For verified or credible CSAM/CSA incidents, we report to regional/national authorities (for example: NCMEC in the U.S. and equivalent agencies internationally) and cooperate fully with lawful requests.

Prevention & Detection Measures

Data Handling & Privacy

We collect and retain only the minimum user data necessary for investigation and law enforcement cooperation. Preserved evidence is stored securely and access is strictly controlled. Any sharing of preserved data is only done:

Cooperation With Law Enforcement

Ishtai cooperates fully with law enforcement worldwide. Our designated contact (operations@wyndtechnologies.com) is available to respond to verified legal requests. We comply with applicable laws for reporting and assist authorities by providing preserved evidence and forensic metadata when lawfully requested.

Training & Responsibility

Personnel who handle reports and moderation receive specialized training on child safety, legal reporting obligations, evidence handling, and trauma-informed communication.

User Education & Safety Tools

Third-party Providers

We require third-party vendors that process or host user content to follow strict contractual obligations for security and for cooperating with lawful CSAM requests.

Appeals & Contact

If a user believes an action taken by Ishtai was in error, they may appeal via operations@wyndtechnologies.com. For urgent law enforcement inquiries, please identify yourself and provide official contact details when emailing.

Legal Compliance

We comply with applicable regional and national laws regarding child protection and CSAM reporting. Where required by local law, we report CSAM to relevant national hotlines or registries in addition to direct law enforcement reporting.

Changes to These Standards

We may update these standards periodically. Any changes will be posted here with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of Ishtai after changes indicates acceptance.
